How do I continue reading where I stopped in the Tanzil app?
In shortOpen the Quran tab and tap Continue. The app takes you to the last ayah you read.
Steps
- Open the Quran tab. The card at the top shows Continue once you have read something (before that it says Start reading).
- Tap Continue to return to your last place.
- To go back further, tap the small arrow next to Continue. Reading history lists your earlier places, newest first, with the surah, ayah, page and how long ago.
Good to know
- The history keeps the last ten readings. The arrow appears once there is more than one.
- A place counts as read after you stay on it for a moment, so a quick look at a bookmark or a search result does not replace it.
- Sign in to keep your last place and history on your other devices.
