How do I copy or share several ayahs as text in the Tanzil app?
In shortTap ⋯ next to an ayah, then Share → Several Ayahs. Choose where the range starts and ends, then Copy or Share.
Steps
- Tap ⋯ next to the first ayah and choose Share, then Several Ayahs.
- Set Starting Ayah and Ending Ayah. They must be in the same surah.
- Switch Arabic and Translation on or off. One of the two stays on.
- Tap Copy, or Share to use your phone's share sheet.
Good to know
- The text has the Arabic, then the translation, then the reference such as Name 2:255 - 257, with each ayah numbered.
- For a single ayah, ⋯ → Copy copies it straight away.
- Ranges are shared as text only; use Picture for one ayah.
