How do I choose a reciter and repeat an ayah in the Tanzil app?

Tap the Listen (play) button in the reader's top bar. There you can pick the Reciter, the range, and how often to repeat.

Steps

In the reader tap the play button in the top bar. The sheet opens at the current page.
Tap Reciter, choose one and press Ready. The play icon next to each name previews it.
Set Beginning and Ending if you want a different range.
Use Repeat selection for the whole range and Repeat each Ayah for every ayah. Choose a number or Unlimited, then tap Listen.
While it plays, tap Repeat this Ayah repeatedly to cycle off, 1, 2, 3 and endless extra repeats of the ayah being recited.

To hear one ayah, tap ⋯ next to it and choose Listen. Repeat & range opens the sheet at that ayah.
The speed button on the player cycles 0.75×, 1× and 1.25×.
The first time you play a surah it is downloaded and kept, so it plays offline afterwards.
Words are highlighted when timing is available for that reciter and surah.
