How do I listen to whole surahs with the screen off in the Tanzil app?
In shortOpen the Listen tab, choose a surah and a reciter, and press play. It keeps playing with the screen off.
Steps
- Open the Listen tab.
- Choose the surah and tap Reciter to choose who recites.
- Press play. Use the buttons for the previous and next surah, ten seconds back and forward, Repeat and Stop.
- To set a sleep timer, tap the moon icon in the top bar.
- To keep a surah for offline listening, tap Download under the player.
Good to know
- The sleep timer offers 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes or At the end of the sura. The volume fades out over its last seconds.
- The lock screen and notification show previous, play/pause, stop and next with a seek bar.
- Translation recitations are on the list too.
