How do I find the qibla in the Tanzil app?
In shortOpen the Prayer tab and tap the Qibla icon in the top bar. Choose Compass or Map.
Steps
- Set up prayer times so the app knows where you are.
- On the Prayer tab tap the Qibla icon.
- Choose Compass to point your phone, or Map for a line from you to the Kaaba.
Good to know
- A phone compass can be off when it is not calibrated. If it seems wrong, move the phone in a figure 8 away from magnets and metal, or use the map.
- The compass works offline. The map needs an internet connection.
