How do I read tafsir in the Tanzil app, and in which languages?
In shortTap ⋯ next to an ayah and choose Tafsir. The tafsir is in the app's language.
Steps
- Tap ⋯ next to an ayah.
- Choose Tafsir. The page shows the ayahs above their commentary.
- Use Headings to jump within the page and Tafsir settings to change the size.
Good to know
- Turkish and Russian cover the whole Quran. English covers every surah except 105 (Al-Fil), which has no commentary.
- Azerbaijani covers surahs 1 to 21. Later ayahs show a note that commentary is available only up to that surah.
- You cannot choose the tafsir language separately: change the app's language in Settings → Appearance → Language.
- Tafsir is part of the app and works offline.
